Fake Permissions

How grants work

Fake permissions are interpreted by Semetary’s access checks. They do not modify a role’s real Discord permissions. Only the server owner can configure these grants, and @everyone cannot receive them.

Configure a role

Multiple permission names can be separated by commas or spaces. List shows the current grants; remove revokes selected permissions.

Permission limits

Owner-only checks, antinuke protection, and role hierarchy still apply. The bot also needs its own Discord permissions.

A fake permission cannot give Semetary a Discord permission it lacks.

Examples use the default comma prefix. Required inputs use angle brackets; optional inputs use square brackets. Each command notes whether it is also registered in Discord’s slash menu.
